My New Amp

I picked up a Roland Cube 60 at a garage sale tonight for $100. It is in perfect working order and sounds awesome. I am happier than a puppy with two peters.... Night all

Today I took a little different route in my playing. I am trying to learn some soloing techniques. I am a rhythm player and have been very comfortable with that up to this point. Just trying to expand. It is very challenging..... Will post more detail soon. Hope y'all had a great weekend...

I Love New Things

Today a friend introduced me to an amp called a Fender Supersonic. Now when I heard that Fender has come up with a high gain amp, I did the typical sigh and yeah right. I checked one out and I have to say that the sound of this amp is comparable to that of a dual rectifier. This amp screams and I want one..... Didn't play at all today as I just want to take a break. Fat fingers ware out quick these days....... Have a good night all....

An Awesome Day

We had a great day at work today. Get home and start to play my guitar and my father stops bye. Now that doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but my dad  lives 70 miles away and I don't get to see him that often. It will be a nice couple of days. ... Rock on and say something nice to someone today. You never know who you may touch...

Another Day At The Office

Really had a fucked up day, so the only thing I do when I get home is put in my ear plugs, crank the amp and start jamming out. I started a new job about 3 weeks ago and it has been stressful. Just when I feel like I am getting a handle oin the job, I feel like I fall about 3 steps behind. Just part of the job I guess. I love that my wife lets me turn it up and never bitches about it...... Thanks    night all.....

Boomface

I put "boomface" in the title because I know that this irritates my wife... I have been fighting a bitch headache all day. Now this is extremely irritating to me as it makes it hard for me to turn my amps up to the volume I like. So I just picked it without even plugging it into the amp. So I think I will quit for the night and just watch Pinks. Remember to thank a soldier if you see one... Peace \m/

Basic's Round 2

Just decided to do another day of basics. It does get monotonous but again I feel it is necessary. Tomorrow I'm just going to jam to whatever I feel like jamming to. That usually means that I just play whatever random riff's I can think of at the time. It is fun. I am going to call and set up some guitar lessons soon. Sounds retarded, but I really want to know some theory with my guitar....Night all
