Boomface

I put "boomface" in the title because I know that this irritates my wife... I have been fighting a bitch headache all day. Now this is extremely irritating to me as it makes it hard for me to turn my amps up to the volume I like. So I just picked it without even plugging it into the amp. So I think I will quit for the night and just watch Pinks. Remember to thank a soldier if you see one... Peace \m/

Basic's Round 2

Just decided to do another day of basics. It does get monotonous but again I feel it is necessary. Tomorrow I'm just going to jam to whatever I feel like jamming to. That usually means that I just play whatever random riff's I can think of at the time. It is fun. I am going to call and set up some guitar lessons soon. Sounds retarded, but I really want to know some theory with my guitar....Night all

The Basics

Just worked on basic chord progressions today. Then jammed out on some Metallica and Aerosmith.... It was fun.... My hours at work changed so I am one whooped puppy tonight. See y'all.....

A Nice Day

My wife and I went to our local Veterans museum yesterday and I have to tell you that for a small town, it is quite an impressive place to visit. It was also very humbling to say the least. I sit here and I think, what did I do today. I had the day off, so I got up late this morning, Made some breakfast, watched some TV, went out and washed my truck. Came in and took a short nap and spent an overall nice day with my wife.

A soldier serving overseas wakes up in the morning and the first thing he thinks is I am going to try and not get killed today or watch a friend die today. I put my wallet in my pants today. A soldier puts on armor and slings a gun over his shoulder.

God forgive me when I bitch about my life. Compared to the brave men and women of our armed forces, I live on easy street. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of our Vets....

What A Day

I am sitting here trying to do my blog and all of a sudden the shade on the window next to my computer falls down and knocks my cherry iced tea over onto my keyboard. I'm thinking oh fuck, now I don't have a keyboard and i'm pretty screwed. SO I took my keyboard off and ran it under the kitchen sink and it seems to be working fine. We'll see how it goes. That has been how my entire day has been going. Trying to keep some semblance of a smile though... Peace out...

Inspiration

I find it astonishing where one might find inspiration. I was listening to an old Isaac Freeman CD, Now for those of you who don't know who Isaac Freeman is, He is an old Black bass singer. And I mean this guy is low. I heard him singing some old gospel songs and it gave me some ideas for some riffs. Just so you all know, I am white as notebook paper. Just goes to show that inspiration is color blind. . . . . Take it where you can get it. Have a great weekend and take some time and show someone some love. You never know who's life you might touch.... Peace

Gonna Keep It Short Today.

It is about twenty minutes after 7 and I think I am going to bed in a little bit. I have been sick as a dog for the last day and a half. I have not played at all today. I know that being sick is no excuse, but it is some honest shit. I'm sorry this isn't longer today. Night
