A New Day

I decided to leave the AC on so the humidity in the house would be a little more controlled. This surprisingly took care of the intonation problems I was having. Thought it might help a bit, but this slam dunked the problem. So I played like a mad man tonight. Everything from Metallica, to some Zepplin to Whitesnake.... What a great night. Peace y'all

Intonation

I am having a hell of a time getting my guitar intonated. I get it set, then the humidity changes and its all out of whack. I look and the neck of my guitar is has more curve than a severely broken nose. . . I guess these are the trials and tribulations of owning a guitar. I am working on coming up with a solution. When I find it, I will post the answer on my blog. Have a good night all... Peace

My New Amp

I picked up a Roland Cube 60 at a garage sale tonight for $100. It is in perfect working order and sounds awesome. I am happier than a puppy with two peters.... Night all

Arpegios

Today I took a little different route in my playing. I am trying to learn some soloing techniques. I am a rhythm player and have been very comfortable with that up to this point. Just trying to expand. It is very challenging..... Will post more detail soon. Hope y'all had a great weekend...

I Love New Things

Today a friend introduced me to an amp called a Fender Supersonic. Now when I heard that Fender has come up with a high gain amp, I did the typical sigh and yeah right. I checked one out and I have to say that the sound of this amp is comparable to that of a dual rectifier. This amp screams and I want one..... Didn't play at all today as I just want to take a break. Fat fingers ware out quick these days....... Have a good night all....
